Christine Haines Greenberg
Christine Haines Greenberg is a serial entrepreneur and small business consultant who thrives in the wedding industry. She co-owns Urban Set Bride, a boutique she founded with her mother in 2014, and The Hive Wedding Collective, a luxury wedding planning company with 5 full-time planners. In 2020, she expanded her expertise into business coaching, helping creatives and entrepreneurs refine their brands, boost profitability, and achieve work-life balance.
Raised as an Army brat, Christine spent her formative years in Germany and moved every two years with her parents before landing in Richmond to study English, Women’s Studies, and Political Science at VCU. Though wedding planning wasn’t in her original plan, she found her niche in creating organized, stylish, and inclusive experiences for couples.
Her wedding gown boutique, Urban Set Bride, was born out of a need for LGBTQ+ friendly, size-inclusive and high-quality bridal shopping in Virginia. Seeing a gap in the market, she and her mother built a space that blends intimacy, diversity, and exceptional service—a stark contrast to the big-box bridal experience or high-end boutiques that aren’t welcoming to all.
With two thriving businesses, Christine now mentors fellow entrepreneurs through one-on-one consulting, covering branding, profitability, networking, and social media strategy. She’s also an ordained wedding officiant, mother of two, and lifelong “hype girl” to everyone she loves. Many jokingly call her a cult leader because she isn’t afraid to point out the potential in others (especially women) and encourage them to take the leap they’ve been thinking about.
Christine lives near Bon Air with her husband, Lenny, their two sons, Ellis and Jack, and their beloved one-eared rescue dog, Frida Bonita. She loves trying new restaurants, reading romantasy novels, spending time with her girlfriends, keeping her plants alive, and unwinding with wine and bad TV.
