Songbird Speech
Hi, I'm Gina Maggio, a pediatric SLP and owner of Songbird Speech Pediatric Therapy. I began working as a pediatric SLP in 2017, working in large pediatric outpatient clinics, where I honed in on my skills and developed a passion for a child-led approach to therapy.
After welcoming my daughter, Wren, into the world in 2024, I saw speech therapy in a whole new light. I was able to view my work from a mom's perspective. I realized just how much parents do for their parents, and how difficult it can be to tackle everything on the calendar. This led me to start Songbird Speech.
My goal is to make speech therapy more accessible to families by bringing treatment straight to the home, school, playground, and more! Meeting children where they are (both physically and developmentally) allows them to learn and grow in a way they are comfortable in, which in turn leads to better outcomes. I match your child’s needs and provide fun, engaging, and educational therapeutic sessions. Parents and caregivers will also be provided with the tools and techniques needed in order to carry their skills into every setting they may go.
