Hi there! I’m Paiten, a Certified Professional Birth Doula trained by DONA International, a Professional Postpartum Doula trained by CAPPA, a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, Childbirth Educator (CBI), and a Registered Nurse. I graduated from VCU in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, and I also hold a Master’s in Health Administration from Pfeiffer University. I’m passionate about learning, and I can’t wait to continue growing and supporting families like yours in this amazing journey!
I created Blissful Beginnings Doula Services, LLC because I truly believe in the power of supportive, compassionate care during childbirth. My mission is to advocate, educate, support, and empower families every step of the way. I’m here to offer personalized, loving support so you (and your partner) can have the positive, unforgettable experience you deserve. Every birth is unique, and it’s my goal to make sure you feel heard, confident, and cared for as we bring your birth vision to life.
Along with my doula training, I’m also certified in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). With over eight years of hands-on experience in long-term care, orthopedics, cardiac telemetry, emergency department, labor and delivery, and antepartum, I’ve seen it all—and I’m here to make sure you feel safe, informed, and empowered throughout your journey, no matter what your birth looks like!
