Hailey is a professionally ToLabor trained birth doula based in the Richmond area. She has always felt drawn to birth, even before she had the words for it. That calling came rushing back when she experienced the birth of her own son. A journey that began with 26 months of infertility, included switching providers in her third trimester before ending with an empowering birth despite some unexpected twists and turns. Having a doula in her corner made all the difference, and she believes that experience was not accidental. It deepened her conviction that accompanying families through birth is holy ground, and a privilege she doesn't take lightly.
Hailey believes that when people truly know their options, they are able to make informed decisions no matter what curveballs arise and she is committed to walking alongside every family with calm, nonjudgmental support. A deep sense of calling is what guides her through this work and it's what makes her care deeply about your birth story, not just your birth plan. She is honored to serve as a backup doula with A Brighter Birth and shows up for each family with the same warmth and faithfulness she would want for her own.
When she's not at a birth, you can find Hailey chasing a toddler around Richmond with her husband or planning their next adventure around the world.
