Elizabeth Fuqua
Elizabeth Fuqua, L.Ac. is a Nationally Board Certified and state certified acupuncturist licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine. Elizabeth is a graduate of the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine’s Master of Science Degree in Acupuncture (M.S.Ac.) program. She was drawn to Traditional Chinese Medicine because it treats the whole person and seeks to understand the root cause of health concerns rather than viewing the body in a compartmentalized way.
Elizabeth’s work focuses on the mind-body connection in seeking to resolve chronic and acute pain, stress, sleep problems, fertility issues, and digestive disorders, among others. In addition, Elizabeth has completed postgraduate coursework in treating conditions related to pregnancy and postpartum – a specialty she has felt drawn to since the birth of her own children in 2019 and 2021.
She truly believes acupuncture can help everyone, no matter where they are in life, and considers it an honor to make a difference in someone’s health and instill lifelong change for the better. In addition to acupuncture, Elizabeth’s sessions offer movement-based therapies, nutrition counseling and lifestyle advice to empower her clients on their health journey beyond the treatment room.
