Kim Kimball
I'm Kim Kimball—a somatic coach, life transition guide, and Doctor of Physical Therapy. I specialize in working with women navigating identity transitions: matrescence, midlife, relationships ending, faith deconstruction, career dissolution, and late diagnosis neurodivergence.
I work with women who are standing in the space between who they were and who they're becoming—when the old identity no longer fits but the new one hasn't fully formed yet. My clients span all of these thresholds: mothers navigating matrescence, women in midlife questioning their career, women leaving their faith or ending relationships.
This work addresses the grief, disorientation, and nervous system dysregulation that come with major life transitions—particularly the ones that can't be resolved through cognitive approaches alone.
Women come to me to:
-Reconnect with their inner authority after years of looking outside themselves for answers
-Navigate grief and identity loss without rushing to replace what's ending
-Rebuild capacity to trust their own discernment and body's signals
-Set boundaries that don't require justification or abandoning themselves to keep others comfortable
-Stay grounded through uncertainty without needing all the answers before moving forward
My approach is body-based and nervous-system-informed. I bring fifteen years of clinical experience as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, extensive training in neuroanatomy and somatic practices, ICF-accredited coaching, and eight years of experience coaching women through identity expansion.
I offer private somatic coaching through my program Crossing the Threshold (ongoing support for women navigating identity transitions) and a Threshold Mapping Day (a focused asynchronous container for women exploring this work or needing support at a specific threshold moment).
My work is for women ready to go deeper—to address the identity transitions and nervous system patterns that require body-based support, not just insight.
