Meredith Hill

Postpartum Doula

Meredith Hill is a DONA International trained postpartum doula, currently pursuing certification. She’s completed post-graduate coursework in infant mental health and attachment, and is a vocal advocate for maternal health and women’s reproductive rights. Meredith’s comprehensive resources and care draw from her professional training and continuing education, along with her lived experience as a mom of two, and decades immersed in the local community as a Richmond native.

As a lifelong nurturer and strong advocate for maternal well-being, I help parents feel informed and confident in their capabilities during this vulnerable time when attention is often centered on the baby. My personal experiences of postpartum during peak isolation in the spring of 2020, PMADs, and two high-risk rainbow baby pregnancies turned empowering births have given me invaluable insight and compassion that fuels and informs my practice as a postpartum doula. I work together with my clients and their partners, bringing nonjudgmental support and a sense of calm to the chaos, by creating a care plan suited to their specific needs and lifestyle, while prioritizing the collective well-being of the family as a whole. My approach blends practical help, emotional support, and current, evidence-based information with timeless wisdom honoring this profound season of life.
